Dog Partners’ Policies

Please read carefully before registering.

Group Training Classes:

  1. We are no longer required to have a COVID 19 Safety Plan.  
  2. Do NOT attend classes if you are sick. Masks remain optional in class.
  3. We ask that attendance be restricted to 2 people per dog in class so there is lots of space for everyone.
  4. Please ensure that any children attending are old enough to fully participate in class without requiring adult supervision
  5. Fees are non-refundable. We keep our class sizes small and cannot provide a make-up class or a refund for missed classes.
  6. Please ensure you read the Terms and Conditions for Participation in Training (available on the “Services” tab of our home page).

Private Training Packages or Single Sessions:

  1. We require 24 hours notice if you cannot make your scheduled private session or you forfeit that session.
  2. Fees are non-refundable. We will consider a refund if your dog is ill and cannot proceed with training - such refund will be less a 15% admin fee. A note from veterinarian will be required in the event of illness to your dog.
  3. Private training packages are designed to be weekly, in-person or online sessions and must be pre-paid and pre-scheduled at the time of scheduling.
  4. The cost is the same for both in-person sessions and online sessions.
  5. You cannot upgrade from one package to another if you decide you want more training sessions.  You can add on to your existing package at a reduced rate (see package details for the add on rates).
  6. The ability to add-on sessions to completed packages will expire 6 months after your last training session.
  7. In the event of a price increase to our packages and add-on sessions, we will honour your previous price for 30 days beyond your last training session.
  8. Packages must be used within 1 month of the scheduled date of your last session unless agreed to by all parties at the start of your package.
  9. Single session consults must be pre-paid at the time of scheduling.
  10. You cannot upgrade to a package from a single session consult. We highly recommend that you choose a package over a single session consult for the best results and to make the most progress.
  11. If you need to make a date change to your scheduled sessions, we will try to be as accommodating as we can, but we cannot guarantee that you will be able to get into the next week at the same day/time.  Our schedules fill quickly and quite far in advance and it’s difficult to make last-minute adjustments.
  12. Sorry but we cannot refund unused portions of any package unless agreed to in advance by all parties.
